Are you aware that you can use the Google Maps app to see Street View? Search for a destination and look for a red pin to show up on the map. If you press on the pin, and choose the person icon, the Street View will load. Would you like to quickly take a screenshot? It's easier than you might think. Press the 'Home' and 'sleep/wake' button simultaneously. You'll see a flash, hear a click and the screenshot will be taken. Every screen shot will be saved automatically so you're not going to have to think about saving it later. There is need to send photos in an antiquated manner. There is a quicker way than sending an email with an attachment. Simply view your photographs, click on the photo you would like to share, click the upper-right hand arrow and email the picture.

It is a pain when you get an email and your iPad chimes every time. Did you know you can turn off this annoying feature? To do so, go to Settings and General. Then select Sounds. Now you can disable the mail sounds or fix the level. The latest operating system, iOS, allows you to use folders on your iPad. Tap an app and hold the icon until it jiggles. Then, drag the app onto a second app and let go. Doing this will create a new folder, and inside you will be able to access either app, and it will automatically be named by category. You can rename the folder, if you like. You can reboot your iPad when it freezes by doing a soft reset. To do this, you must hold the home and power buttons at the same time for a few seconds. This will cause your device to restart. If you want to kill a running process, hold the main button for around 5 seconds.

If you have trouble getting your side volume buttons to work, head to "settings" and "general" followed by "sounds." Ensure that Change With Buttons has been selected so they work. A volume slider within the sound option also allows you to choose your volume range. Make use of tabs to multitask Internet surfing. For example, there are ways to keep a page you are viewing when you want to open a link. Rather than tap the link, push down on it and options will appear. Next, open up the link with a new tab. Do you feel distracted by seeing the battery charge percent icon on your iPad screen? You can easily turn it off if you like. Start off with your Settings menu. Locate the Usage setting under the General settings. You should be able to figure out how to turn off the battery percentage display on this menu. You do not need to tap the small camera roll icon found in the bottom left corner to look at a picture or video you have just taken. Just do a one-finger swipe to see your photo or video. To look at your previous pictures, swipe your finger to the left. If your children browse the Internet with the iPad, take action to keep them safe. First visit your SETTINGS menu. Next, go to GENERAL. Then go to RESTRICTIONS. When you get there, hit your "enable restrictions" button. You can then block your children from seeing content they shouldn't be seeing. Adult websites, pictures, and videos will not show up.
